2 Months!

Zachary has been busy!  He celebrated his 2 month birthday on June 15.  Unfortunately, the celebration included those dreaded 2 month shots.  We then packed up the car and headed west.  Lesson learned: don't take a road trip the day your baby gets shots. On one hand, he slept like a champ in the car.  On the other hand, when we stopped in Junction City to meet Great-Grandma Jo, he screamed bloody murder so loud that everyone in the assisted living place knew we were there.  And  that is saying something.  Grandma Jo commented several times that "he has good lungs!"

We eventually made it to Grandma Barb and Papa Ken's farm.  It will be much more fun to visit in another year when he identifies cows and can take a ride on the Gator. He did not get to experience his first wheat harvest because it rained, which was just short of a miracle this year!

Aaron got to celebrate his first Father's Day with a sweet (and sleepy) baby boy.

And Zachary spent quality time lounging with 2 of his new best friends, Fritz and Harper.  Someday these three will all be at K-State together.  We hope anyway!

I am treasuring every second of the next 2 weeks I have on maternity leave. Fingers crossed for consistent sleeping through the night by July 10!
